I ain't going that far, but I have complete apathy about MSU football. Even during the darkest John L Smith hours, he at least gave us some wins vs team were weren't supposed to beat, and epic collapses that lived on for years...but Jonathan Smith is just emotionless... lifeless... and the program reflects it. Stanford has hired Tavita Pritchard as the school's next head coach, the school announced on Friday.

Pritchard is a former Stanford quarterback, assistant coach and coordinator. He is the Washington Commanders quarterbacks coach, a job he took in 2023 after various roles on the Stanford staff from 2010 to 2022.

Pritchard has received permission to leave the Commanders to join the Stanford staff after Washington plays Denver on Sunday night

NIL era and places willing to pony-up means less and less job hopping for HCs...it would be unimaginable 10 years ago for someone to stay at Vandy over UF, or stay at IU over PSU, but these days, coach is thinking why tf would I want to go clean up that mess, and be under the gun by year 3?

Folks also like staying put, that’s stressful to move your family from like chestnut hill to Tampa to Austin to Berkeley to bowling green etc and the money is usually similar, and less stress, long as the powers to be are down to actually put in work to continue to get talent

I can’t say that, i think the expectations was more than he could deliver, but he was knocking out their avg amount of wins til the wheels came off, the only question, is, ucla willing to put up with a mf who is an a$$hole, and rubs people the wrong way, will they lower standards, will they fully support football ($$$$)
