Those non-conf games are the best part of weeks 1-4...now they'll get bushed for weaker teams to ensure a 2 loss maximum. Playoffs are dope in theory, but that first round was trash af last year, and they're going to destroy the best regular season of any sport in existence.
Had mich not scheduled OU, they're just about guaranteed a playoff spot this year with no signature win...so I wouldn't blame them for not scheduling a team like OU again. Looking at their schedule next year they have OU, @Oregon, @OSU, meaning they'll have to go 1-2 in those 3 games...take OU out of the equation, they can lose those 2 road games and still be in the playoffs.

No reason to play them AT ALL.. ND get more credit for losing against Miami than Miami gets credit for winning the game, really got people out here talking about quality losses or games early in season dont matter as their talking points. Im all for cancelling early season games, Sept games are preseason basically or only apply to certain schools. No upside.
