He could be Jar Jar if his character is simply all we've seen, where his clicky awkwardness doesn't so much steal scenes as they do make them uncomfortable to watch. The introduction to Bruce and Clark was cringe worthy, but like it was pointed out, it simply might be him just playing the part.

It was definitely cringeworthy, even if it was him playing the part.

I get the direction they want him to go though, just hope he doesn't get a lot of screen time acting like that I guess

Snyder and crew definitely blinked....shyt seems forced. The previous trailers were so precise.

I wish they followed the Star Wars format in showing you just enough without giving away everything.

Not in terms of showing a trailer. In terms of the tone of the trailer. It just seemed to appease the GA.

It's that Kill Bill convo come to life - Kal El does an impression of regular people to make them feel comfortable. Clark is his real disguise and he's got pretty good at it. The awkwardness makes the dichotomy between Clark and Superman's quiet confidence that much bigger too.

Its something that might get overlooked because we're so used to the character. He even has his moms telling him - "These humans aren't loyal - fukk 'em " because being noble and doing the right thing comes to him way more naturally. He is 'The Boy Scout' after all.

I think a movie with this kind of tone might be able to handle a nuance like that well.

Your trailer is supposed to appease a general audience though. And Snyder has also been saying for months that there's a levity to the movie that hasn't been revealed yet but it would. Sometimes you gotta give cats credit and the benefit of the doubt as opposed to thinking they just put stuff together just because.

Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent's dialogue sounds like they already know each other's identities, esp with the way Bruce looked Clark up and down before he said "Freaks dressed like clowns." It might be a midpoint of the flick... or third act

Dapped, but technically directors dont make trailers it's usually outsourced...
