Y'all say that on here, but really outside of this forum I don't really hear people talk about Math like that. Mook is talking about Hollow and Surf because that's what the people are talking about; really, Math is the main one throwing himself into these battles with people, nobody's really running from him. If his dumb ass wasn't punching people on URL stages then he'd be in a better position to demand those battles right now. It's not like Mook or Surf or Lux banned Math.

The thing is Math isn't the biggest battle for ANYBODY. Battling Math or beating Math isn't really going to advance anyone's career, it's only going to enhance Math's. Mook gains more from battling Hollow or Surf. Surf gains more from battling Mook. People are more interested in Verb or Daylyt for Lux. It is what it is.

Math just isn't that great IMO, but he does have a small rabid fanbase.

Iron came nice in that battle too, but if you don't like his style you're not gonna agree.

It was cool for what it was. Iron's pengame & writing style is kinda dated for someone who has the "lyricist" tag.

He was ahead of the curve at the time of the Math battle, but now guys like Chilla, Danja & Daylyt have advanced past him. And he's not a Philly legend, nor is he Charlie Clips, so his delivery isn't strong enough to mask his outdated writing style.
He's going to do more battles, so I'll be interested in seeing if he makes adjustments to his writing style.

I think we are getting at the same thing, I'm moreso pinpointing the patterns that he uses to structure his raps. If he wasn't using that same pattern over and over, maybe he would be able to improve his delivery.

Ill Will would be getting the tay roc treatment if he was with the url. Automatic nome/sm appearances plus a redemption type card. They had no problem giving this nygga the push.

If the url fukks with you, they fukk with you especially if you have the right style. The DNA loss wouldn't have stopped that.

Ill Will has never been the type to battle a lot which made his departure more puzzling.

Being on the URL stage is a different beast. I can imagine for a lot of battlers it isn't fun. A lot of nerves & anxiety & some can't handle the pressure.

Now even tho i agreed wit it, and ik he just answerin da question bein asked to him honestly, the league owner shouldn't be pickin favorites like that. Without "Get Smack Df Outta Here!" dat entire battle looks totally different. It's like Smack was CP3 and DNA just Blake Griffined dat shyt.

And to compound it that was the worst Ill Will we ever seen. Nothin positive came outta dat for him smh. It was a weird match-up to begin wit tho, i mean who actually thought of Ill Will vs DNA beforehand

Idk, I'd argue that DNA won that for himself with that line. If it WAS set up, I don't think that benefits Smack. He NEEDS more guys from out of town to be URL regulars to draw their fanbases. I can't see DNA being somebody that's a big draw. Will just needed to match haymakers with DNA but problem is, DNA had that experience and knew exactly how to do it. To his credit, Will has never looked better since then. The battle with Bigg K was a monster, I couldn't have enjoyed it any more than I did. And a battle with Calicoe pushes Will back into relevancy, assuming it'll be an even battle.

Ehhh, I had him 2-1 against Day, your right that it's not a body. It's one of my favorite clips performances ever. But he killed Tay Roc
