Coli hustlas...go-getters..entrepreneurs..where ya at?!

I've been meaning to make this thread for a while but was finally spurred into action by @Stuntone 's thread this morning. I relate to it in a major way because I'm in a similar boat. I'm a salaried employee but have made investments on the side which have given me some good returns. I have now saved some money and want to be fully independent either by the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

I'm a young dude with a good professional job. Nevertheless, a job has always been a means to end for me. fukk a career :heh:

So all the dudes who are walking the walk...let's share experiences...tips..materials etc.

Considering how we much we talk about ownership and black business you'd think there would be a whole sub-forum dedicated to money/business. A thread is the least we can have.

So where the coli hustlas at?

@Stuntone
@Coney Island
@Theraflu
@Nymeria

Prolly many more ppl I'm forgetting :salute:

I'm thinking of buying my first to let in London in the East Central Area.......
I will use them simply as a long term investment and have the tenants pay the mortgage.
My only issue atm is I need to begin rebuilding my credit file in the UK as I lost it when I moved. I now only have a credit file in Germany.
People tell me to look into investing in NYC real estate over London but I'm not too sure.....

NYC or London for investment properties which do you guys think have the potential for a higher yield :lupe:

Damn that's serious @ the bolded. I'm currently looking at property too. But outside London. I want to get my foot in the door with a good priced property in a decent location.

London prices are too much for me. Maybe the outer boroughs. All those foreigners parking their cash in London property fukkked up the game :damn:

Real estate is going to be my move. I want a small office building or a duplex to start depends on where I can find the better deal. I have a few business ideas but I don't see me carrying them out any time soon. Renting/leasing seems the easiest although there is plenty of risk and hard work required.

It is and it makes a nice pension fund too, if you just have your tenants paying the rent. Once they finish paying it you can sell it and keep the money for your self to either reinvest or add to your early retirement fund and gain interest on...

What boroughs are you thinking of ? I'd avoid renting out property in hood areas. My dad has properties in hood areas and honestly the tenant experience has been hell.

My goal is to pay in cash. I live in a area where I can still get decent property for cheap if I'm willing to sit on it. Trying to get in before the gentrification wagon sets up shop.
