The Official "Ender's Game" Thread (May Contain Spoilers)

I'm on the last few chapters of the book and it's fukking INTENSE. I'm kind of worried for this movie because I'm not sure if it's something that can be contained within one movie without rushing it and ruining it.

I have a feeling that if it's even semi accurate to the books that it will be the sleeper hit of the year and a must have blu-ray next season.

I was hoping they would split the first book into two movies. First one focusing on battle school and second one focusing on the war. Will still be watching day 1 though.

Just watched it and it was pretty good

It could've been epic if they did a couple thing differently or maybe stretched the movie out a hour or so but it was still good even though it felt like they were rushing thru the story

Movie was ok, but it definitely didn't do the book justice. Entertaining, but kind of a let down. Was my favorite book since I read it back in HS

Hate to bump so late, but I finally caught the movie on HBO ......Been wanting to see a movie on this universe since I was in High School reading a few of the books. The movie is good, but if you really want to get immersed you need to read the books and let your imagination run wild. Movies never have the same impact as books because their so limited.
