Paraguay getting to the final without winning a single game was07 had that Argentina team , too bad they choked when they met the Brazil but they looked like the business then as they did at the 06 WC before Germany. The tournament showed how much the other teams caught up to the giants or it was a case of the big teams regressing.

I think the romanticism of having a bunch of entertaining teams play in a tournament got to you, I suggest you actually look at the the tournament and make sure you aren't mistaken

There is a chance you might be right about me romanticizing. My memory isn't too great
But for the sake of saving face ill stand by that it at least had entertaining moments...not many goals...but it was something. In fact I might have hated it as well 2 years ago.

How the hell wasnt that Copa America entertaining?! We were shyt, Argentina was shyt, both barely made it out of group phase, Uruguay beating Argentina in the quarters, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole competition, I mean Andre Santos was a starter ffs

He wouldve been looking alot older and aged if he had stayed in London, but I think he skipped town and that cold weather and cynicism and married a brazilian queen now hes living in Rio sipping coconut water, biking and running in Ipanema/Copacabana and playing soccer volley on the beach
