Hes too old for Chelsea so that was a non starter. Arsenal have Odegaard Yanited have Bruno. Bu-bu-but Havmomentz we could of signed Madders instead of him. Different profile from what you was looking for and needed more off the ball player. Especially when you have Zinchenko playing the inverted LB role you don't need another player who needs to be on the ball playing at left 8.

Citeh have changed their profile on what they were looking for. Liverpool were looking for more 6/8 than a 8/10. Also they have Elliott and Jones who are more 8/10's. So while Maddison went for cheap his options were limited for different reasons.
