Plus I just gotta say I love the idea of the football hipster. Even as I've harbored the idea that I hate the word hipster for some time now, the football hipster is something I've grown to appreciate.

I've been increasingly leaning towards gaming the system, none of it is real anyway, which is how I suspect most Wall Street people feel, which is about as close as I can get to the one percenters realistically

breh, if you just got out of college you can do internship work in the field you want.

Get some experience and start applying for gigs. You do a good job, and then you use those superiors as a reference.

One girl I know in my field is making major moves and shyt is putting me to shame. Getting interviewed by NBC while I can't even get a look in at these small ass papers

I feel like what I'm saying is valid. I don't wanna be that 25 year old who still lives with his parents. NO disrespect to anybody 25+ who is in that situation right now

@Grams think of this as the best opportunity to learn to be PATIENT. i dont possess the skills to have a job that got me paid out of college - i can't write code, i pretty much how to use a keyboard and the on/off switch on a computer, and i only worked in restaurants when i was a student, and only for a few months at a time. i was forced to be patient and now at age 27 i've been and currently am a director at places where i once worked part time for $11-$13/hour.

i've by no means even come close to achieving my goals, but what i'm doing now and what i've done is starting to add up, FINALLY.

i remember being in your position like it was yesterday, shyt is depressing, but you make your own luck eventually. worrying doesn't help anything, action does. it's cool to complain because it shows you're motivated to want more, but don't let the complaints become the centerpiece.

first off, people move at different paces. measuring yourself against others in some sort of search for self-respect is just a bad idea. because who really cares tbh? you gotta be comfortable with yourself in all aspects, including your accomplishments.

second, where are you seeing these moves being made?

third, what did they do beforehand to be able to make these moves?
