Yes but he's talking about a player who will consistently, as he said, "run in behind the defense" as part of their attributes. Giroud is absolutely not that man.
I meant shift the system to play to Bats strength. They have Hazard, Willian, Pedro, they can do the work carrying the ball in order to give service to their main striker. Whether that's Bats or Giroud. If they don't change the way they play, if they don't shift to Giroud's strength in this case, he will have been a useless purchase. They have to learn from their previous mistake with Bats and accommodate Giroud (if he is to be starting striker)

You have to shift according to what the squad needs, yes, you take in your world class players into consideration but at times compromises must be made.

EDIT; Maximize their potential is what i'm trying to say. basically Minimax in RPG's and such.

And if you fail to adapt to Giroud's strengths and expect him to "run in behind the defense". It will turn into Batshuyai 2.0.
