I hear that, but Carlisle clearly has mental health issues (a long history battling depression according to most reports) so how do you even go about blaming him for endangering others? I can't.check my edit

I'm in this situation, except the oppositeOne of my homies from work was fired today
But really, even though he was the homie I'm actually sorta upset because that just means more work for me. I can't do the whole Costanza coastin' thing anymore...at least until they hire someone new![]()

I just got hired and I really don't know why they need me
things are slow, and even a 'busy day' is slow, I'm taking way too long on a simple project and just randomly browsing the internet. pay is good and people are nice, it's a small office. but i feel like it's utterly useless

While corporations may engage in ruthless downsizing, the layoffs and speed-ups invariably fall on that class of people who are actually making, moving, fixing and maintaining things; through some strange alchemy no one can quite explain, the number of salaried paper-pushers ultimately seems to expand, and more and more employees find themselves, not unlike Soviet workers actually, working 40 or even 50 hour weeks on paper, but effectively working 15 hours just as Keynes predicted, since the rest of their time is spent organising or attending motivational seminars, updating their facebook profiles or downloading TV box-sets.
