The tournament wound up being a squad game too, Juve has a deep midfield and acceptable forward line, Real are quite thin in the center mid positions. Last year DiMaria filled in when they had injuries and allowed Carlo to tinker around with the structure. Juve does not have width but they had the better central midfield options of all teams remaining in the competition.

well, they shouldve never fired jose in the first place. but carlo is too much of a players' coach for them.
jose won 1 la liga in 3 years and everybody at the club hated his arrogant ass. Carlo won UCL last year, you can't win one UCL after another. They wanted that 10th cup for quite some time and carlo did it. I think he is gonna stay one more season so he can try to win La liga

these players NEED a discipline-based coach not a 'good guy' like carlo. its a locker room mess right now with dudes throwing shots at each other.it's harder to win the ucl than to win la liga.... mou was brought to win ucl and he failed and i think he had a better team than carlo has. Man, I wanted to see an El Clasico final but Juve played a great game. After Ronaldo scored, he disappeared for the rest of the game. Bale was pretty good, just couldn't convert his scoring opportunity. Overall, I think Real Madrid was worn out by Juve stifling defense.
I wanted too, but it have been a let down given the form of Barca and how Real are dipping right now. It would be a let down for the neutrals like May-Pac.

I can see that as Real Madrid hasn't been in top form as of late. Back when they went on that 22 game winning streak, they were a well oiled machine. Now, they're plagued by injuries and aren't as dominate as they were last season. As great as Ronaldo is, he's going to have to let Bale become his wingman and not take all the glory for himself. That to me is why Barcelona is succeeding right now as they have a strong front three whom really connect with one another and know how to play together on the pitch. In order for Real Madrid to get back to top form, Ronaldo needs to gel a bit better with his teammates as he's the engine that keeps this team going.
