Abuse rolls downhill and implies a power imbalance between the abused and the abuser. If a peasant racist is constantly told that he has the power to abuse the millionaire black guy he forms a skewed impression of the reality of the situation.
If you voiced your opinion against the President in his presence it would not be termed as "abusing him" no matter what you said because the power gap is too large.
To be labeled "the abused" in an adversarial encounter is emasculating.

It’s a joke if he Gabi doesn’t at least get called up for a friendly before WCQ. He has 28 goals in all competitions this year, 14 goals in league play, and is the leading goal scorer in Brasileirão. The numbers he’s put up over the last two seasons are just ridiculous.
