i remember that 2010-11 season where Rooney forced United's hands and we were looking
for much of that season. Arsenal was 2nd in the table and could have easily moved ahead of united. 2 things doomed Arsenal that season :1) that 4 - 4 game against Newcastle and eventually that 2)lost to birmingham city. shyt went downhill for Arsenal from there.
The 2011 season i remember Arsenal fans talking about the front 6 of Song,Wilshere,Cesc,Nasri,Walcott, and RVP and that potentially looked good but never had enough starts together. Cesc also looked and played like he had already made his mind up, backheeling the ball to Iniesta at Camp Nou 
. Wenger put together on paper a good first 11 but the weakness was depth in the squad.
