Kakuta was supposed to be the next big thing
He came back to France at Dijon (in Ligue 2 !) after fleeing to England for the money and now he plays for a club in the Netherlands. We had to many promising players who became nobodies, so I can't believe the hype any more.![]()
Tbf Dijon were in Ligue 1 when he was on loan there and he did OK according to reports. The team he plays for now (Vitesse) are decent and they're pushing for Champions League qualification. He is a starter there and doing well so he's not completely off the radar.
He just never got a proper chance at Chelsea due to various reasons. Even now he'd be a better option than Marin imho.

was mad as fack for the rest of the day thinking I lost it until I got home and changed clothes

I feel like he could have been a great addition against Spain but he's too short and puny to be a serious option IMO

and dont want to play for the NT.
