Absolutely UEFA needs a reform. But you really want to put the future of elite football in the hands of the Glazers, Arsenal owners and JW Henry?
sounds like they do... they love those cacs turning soccer into the NFL

I will never watch a super league match
The prospect of soccer becoming like the NFL disgusts me
I'm talking purely in regards to a CL alternative which is what's proposed, I think being banned from the leagues or international football is all hot air personally and any eventual super league would end up replacing the CL. I hate both ideas, the CL is a closed shop in all but name so I really don't get the merit argument because it's the same damn teams from the same couple leagues every season so if they are gonna continue with the new format money grab that is going to still shut out the lesser champions then I'm all for us saying fukk you and not letting UEFA eat off us anymore, especially after how toothless they were when it came to CIty.So you would rather leave the PL and enter this new ESL than stay in the PL and have a chance to enter the new CL by merit if it was a choice ?
For me it's a no way Pedro
Yeah the new format is kinda rubbish and favouring big teams and I would rather the 5 or 6 new places went to other champs from the lesser league , but to even think about going to this ESL American style league format is absurd
Bullshyt...we will watch regardless bc at the end of the day, the quality of football being played will be top drawer...
People side with UEFA by default. They dont actually support them. The American style close league system should never happen in Europe. How can anyone side with UEFA or the leagues. The corrupt fukks just want to keepntheir money in house. Soccer needs consolidation and better structure. It's too loosey goose. fukk the champions league.
It's not though really is it with regard to a closed shopI'm talking purely in regards to a CL alternative which is what's proposed, I think being banned from the leagues or international football is all hot air personally and any eventual super league would end up replacing the CL. Yeah but Sky who he works for let him do that because he was protecting their brand and their interests with the rantYou'd never have a former player spit that way in America. ESPN would have the guy banned![]()

Jose Mourinho stinking up the joint against Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia with Sissoko and Dier in midfield. They snuck in Milan, Spurs and Arsenal so the top teams are guaranteed at least 9 points![]()

Come on nowIt's not though really is it with regard to a closed shop
Are Arsenal still in it year in year out now the fans got their wish and got rid of Wenger, they have not been in it since his last season when he didnt qualify for the first time in like 20 years
Spurs as well haven't been in for a couple of years now and we might not get in it for next year if we don't make the top 4
So yes it is to do with merit from the season before if you don't get top 4 you don't get in it and as our league is very competitive the top 4 can change from season to season.
Yeah I understand other leagues usually always have the same usual suspects entering it but even their league are starting to become more competitive
Juventus might not get in it this year , which will be like the first time since they got relegated for match fixing
a couple of teams might change, Juve might miss out for the first time in how long, you know the point I am making. It is the same teams from qfs onwards every year almost, you can pick 10 teams and will hit on 6/7 at least, it's just a shyt argument especially when the new CL format is increasing the gap between the haves and have nots. Again I hate both ideas, I am a massive advocate of more places being given to the lesser champions and I would happily see the Prem's places reduced to 3 or even 2 even though it would mean us missing out more regularly probably because that's what I want to see more variety and different teams not the same shyt every year.
