It’s not a lack of trust. None of them are good options.

Vieira was a bad buy. We signed him too early.

Partey should have been sold last summer. He is finished.

Viera showed earlier in the season he can be good given a run of games.
He got injured and was never used again after.

ESR is definitely a good option and I'm certain he will show this once he leaves the club.

Being undefeated will obviously sway this heavily, but is Leverkusen winning Bundesliga bigger accomplishment than what Leicester did?

:patrice:

Not even one of the people who think we bottled it last season.
But to lose like this with a fully fit squad at home to Villa when you got your destiny in your hands is bottling I'm sorry.

Same goes for pool.
Double bottles...Cheers :mjcry:

The crowds in both games were mad tense which didn't help matters. It's not over though.. we'll not unless they crumble after this disappointment

Kane has won nothing. The only forward Liverpool have that needs replacing is Gakpo.
:comeon: what does him not winning anything have anything to do with his finishing???? Ya'll just gonna have Núñez spend 10 years at pool Ala martial and hoping he becomes a decent finisher.

Everywhere Kane goes - club or country - he can't win. At some point we gotta wonder if he's as good as the English would make you think.

Nunez, with all his poor finishing, still has double digit goals and assists this season. Martial isn't a tenth the player Nunez is.

again , what does trophies or winning have anything to do with finishing..Nunez cant finish and if u gonna be a CF for tittle contending team u cant be scoring 1 in 10 good chances per game, U might get away with that conversion rate at luton or burnley but it adds up over 38 games....

kane has been unlucky but HE was not the reason for them choking, bottling or whatever.....he dont play defense or orchestrate play in the midfield. He does his job. Nunez doesnt do his job.. Yesterday pool's main finishers had an awful day, but typically mo and Jota score those. That miss that nunez had folks like :unimpressed:they became desensitized to his misses. The stats of him missing big chances matchup with what am saying all that running around aint gon cover up those misses. Same for bellingham all those game winning goals aint gon hide the fact that he's getting out played when he faces a decent midfield. lol

It can't always be everyone's fault but Kane when he keeps falling short. CL final, World Cup, Bundesliga, PL, Euros. It's a pattern. He might just be a flat track bully.

It's funny that you've given so much grace to a fraudulent striker that's at the end of his prime but not Bellingham or Nunez who are just beginning theirs (or not even close in the case of Jude).

If pep is seriously able to win this league 4times in a row serious discussions have to be had about this league, not even barca in messi prime won la liga four times in a row
:why:

Did you just start following footie breh?

Act like Real Madrid didn’t do 5-in a row in the late 80s and then Barca, under Cryuff did 4-in a row in the early 90s right after Madrid.

Pep even played under that “Dream Team” Barca that did the 4-peat, won their first European Cup, won a CwC, and sent a bunch of players to Olympic gold in ‘92

Being undefeated will obviously sway this heavily, but is Leverkusen winning Bundesliga bigger accomplishment than what Leicester did?

:patrice:
Nah. Bayer Leverkusen is a stable top 5/6 club in the BuLi. They’ve been close before, just never got over the line.

LC is a bigger accomplishment.

If Bayer go undefeated, however, different story.

..and if it wasn't for that Liverpool title that everyone in here hated so much they'd be sitting on 6 in a row right now looking for #7 :mjlol:

man utd were "7 in a row" minus 1 point and goal difference. plus 3 CL finals, went undefated in europe 2008, record undefeated run in champions league.

2007, 2009, 2009, 2011, 2013 won league.

2010 - lost to chelsea by 1 point.

image.png

2012 - lost to city by goal difference.

liverpool won 7 or 8 out of 11 (IIRC) in the 70's and 80's + 3 european cups + 2 EUFA cups.

:hubie:

TL;DR other teams have done similar. if prem teams are >>> in europe as well then they would win those other "non-farmer" leagues too.
