completely forgot about Pep's bullshyt when I picked Munchen to win the CL.
It's a damn shame what he's done to that club.

where does Pep go in 2 years when Bayern's board realizes he's not going to do much more than win the league and domestic cup trophies?

what??? :beli:

Bayern had just won The Treble, not much else he could do, its been a long ass time since any team won back to back Champs Leagues, have you any idea how tough that is.

He won everything at Barca and bounced, continental managers dont stay longer than 3 to 4 seasons at a club regardless.

Arrogance.

Allow me to elaborate a bit.

I don't think Pep's stewardship of Bayern is what's best for the club. Obviously with the players they have on hand, no matter what style of football they play, they should be at the top of the Bundesliga, and competing for CL titles. I didn't expect them to complete a second treble the year after winning everything in sight. But, I do expect the team to perform better than they've looked so far under Pep. Before Pep, they have more verticality to their game, which made Robben/Ribery dangerous as fukk. Not that I watch a ton of their games, but the only time I saw that from them in a big match situation last year was when they went down 1-0 to United in the second leg of their quarterfinal matchup.

I could be wrong. Pep could fukk around and win it all with this team this year, or next year. Right now I feel that he's going to walk away with 0 CL titles with this team despite having the talent, and a good enough system, to do so. Bayern just looks kind of sterile to me right now. A very good, high quality sterile, that will allow them to overwhelm 90% of their opponents. However, the standards they set during the treble season look out of reach, and I put part of the blame on the rigidity of Pep's possession football.

I was happy when the khedira deal was first being mentioned because he'd no doubt improve the team and the more percieved superstars you have in the squad the more status you hold in attracting other superstars (see ozil and sanchez), but when this carvalho stoey started floating around...maaaaaaan i got ultra gassed :noah: i need this transfer in my life...he's young as hell, got a good football brain on him, has that general mindstate and that niccadom skrenf...we've needed that for years...i 100% agree with you except giving up on them cos if the transfer is a true story and it breaks down we won't ever really know why, tbh arsene even going for carvalho shows he's trying to go the extra mile cos i swear down in the past arsenal have had a no 3rd party ownership policy when buying players?

But anyway, i really want this transfer to happen and for us to get a good cb, i can deal with not getting a striker if the squad stays healthy...that can wait til next summer

My sentiments exactly.

the team is too white to be successful. Kondogbia was running right threw our midfield. Screamed Carvalho. I'll pay everyone I need to get this thing done. Under the table over the table I don't care. We need blackness.

Rambo dont fukk with that sideways bullshyt :camby:

I think he gets three years total, and Pep at Arsenal? :ld:
Two years ago I would have been much happier with it. Just wish he was a bit more flexible in tactics.

Brehs it just feels nailed on, it's either him or Martinez.

Klopp might fit this squad better but is he leaving Dortmund?

As impressive as he is or may pan out to be, can't get behind any of Yedlin's hairstyle choices I'm afraid.

Perusing his Google images search he's alternated between a shyt Neymar impression, a shyt Kevin Prince Boateng impression, and a shyt Justin Timberlake circa ramen hair era impression, all in the span of 17 years or however long he's been alive.

You are right the standards of the treble year are very much out of reach, the planets have to align for that to happen, it has nothing to do with Pep, the team has run its cycle, robben, ribery arent going to get "better" they just sold a crown jewel in Kroos, they maybe good enough to win the league again, but Dortmund have a very good set up and know how to win titles.

There is a very good chance they wont get to a Champs League Final again for a while, let own win it. Barca struggled with a set up like no other, Man Utd, 3 finals in a few years, wont be in a final for a long time, very good chance Bayern will have to wait a long ass time to get that chance again,
