I use my WDTV Live Hub for my media, but that UI for your roms is nice as hell

I have NaviX as well, it's very good but the movie links aren't as organized as 1channel.

1channel is great, you can stream TV shows and it still has all the show info + artwork

Edit: Misread question.

HTPC plugged to TV via HMDI. Getting your stuff to XBMC though is pretty much any way you can come up with.
