How do you find this out?

I write with my left but ended up learning most sports righty. Might just be because I was watching other people, but now I'm curious.

One quick, easy way is pretend you had a telescope and you want to put it to an eye to look through, which one would you choose?

Writing = left

Eye dominance = right

Kicking = right

Basketball = shoots right, dribbles mostly right

Pool = right

Throwing, any sport = lefty

Golf/Putt-Putt = natural lefty but success is about the same either way. Definitely ambidextrous with putting

Drinking a glass of water/juice etc. = reaches and drinks with right hand

Eating with spoon/fork = lefty

Opening doors = righty mostly depending on the door handle shape



**I'm essentially cross-dominant and it's weird. Most strongly right-handed people just naturally do things with their right hand. I sometimes have to stop and "think" about which hand to use since both will feel natural for certain activities....mainly golf or throwing darts.

I also do a lot of things with my right hand, I didn't really notice I was left handed until I threw footballs and dribbled a basketball. (My moms tried to change my hand so I write with my right hand)
