we not doing ourselves any favors
Michigan wants to compete with the UGA's Bama OSU but school wants to be Princeton. I don't blame Jim if he leaves either you either want to compete for NC's or you don't. We'll continually either be the lower half of top 10 or out of it which we've been since Jim been here. The school has to deal with reality we aren't bringing kids here to be Rhodes Scholars

1 - the recruiting of cj carr and his picking of ND was not really a surprise - the interest was never really mutual - my view was michigan thought he would be a nice to have but not a need to have

carr family had an agent calling saying they wanted something like $2m for him to come to michigan - needless to say that wasn’t going to happen and wasn’t well received

what was strange to me - was his parents bad mouthing michigan

they have both been living off chad tough foundation (which has been how they earn their living) mostly funded by michigan people and michigan fans

so they insult michigan (much not made public) but it has been us who have funded their foundation - really!!!

for me - donations going to Mott in the future

2 - Losing coach bakish Is loss - happy for him to go to a baseball school and getting a nice raise - great guy and coach - he will be missed

having all the mouths to feed within AD makes it hard to match schools like Clemson when they want to spend the money for talent (kind of like recruiting too)

we tried to keep him but tough to match the pay and committed investment Clemson is making to their program

3 - lack of commitments in recruiting Is strange too

two biggest weekends in a long time with only 1 or 2 public announcements is strange

been told their are a few silent commits - at this point those mean nothing

MSU folks being loud with the momentum they have - we need some good news here soon

4 - NIL is moving along well - still more to do - but we are more competitive then folks know - but if anyone thinks we are going to offer kids 2m - houses etc….best to become a Tenn fan or some such - that isn’t the focus of efforts but once your here alot of opportunity - that is the message - and it is a fact - our players are doing well - hope it doesn’t distract from football too much

5 - not strange news but good news - both Cade and JJ are on fire - we have two great qb”s and Great young men too

this year can be special too - DL will be the key

Ya'll see this shyt? ^^^^

The Carr's need to go get fukked. They've been living off Michigan donations to the Chad Tough Foundation for the past few years.. and 1) they have the nerve to ask for 2m for CJ's commitment? :wtf: 2) Bad mouth Michigan because they didn't get what they wanted?

Re: MSU being loud about recruiting momentum. The sensible MSU fans understand that is insanely early in this class, there’s an almost guarantee of decommitments, flips, etc. I highly doubt UM finishes outside of the top 12-15 range once it’s all said and done, and can easily finish at or above where MSU’s class is at.

The loud MSU fans about recruiting are the same hypocrites that used to make fun of UM fans for celebrating highly ranked recruiting classes. The irony is certainly not lost on me.

I haven't seen dude spew shyt before (false shyt) .. and you've gotta ask yourself.. when's the last time ANY of the Carr family's been around the football program? shyts not a coincidence. I know multiple alumi (two that walked onto the team) and they say the same thing. The football program and Carr went their separate ways. And they both played for Lloyd. :manny:

PJ's to the Burbs
Sohh ... My kid went to their camp last week. He did his thing & competed the lvl of comp was stark compared to G Tech where he was week b4. He was fastest of his class ('26) & most of the one older @ his position. Coach, I'm assuming Clink because the kid 4got his name :snoop:, wanted him to come back next year to "see his growth" dont know wha that means but the kid was feeling the feedback. Met Harbs & he was cool as a f'n fan just chopping it up w/ him. Saw Mike Hart just had to give breh a pound. Their facilities are sick we started off @ the big house then went to the weight room & indoor facilities. All around the weight room were signs "what are you doing to beat O$U today?"

I was trying my damndest to not fan boy out as I was there for the kids business but as a dad taking his son :myman:. For the kid seeing that he can compete @ that lvl you can see the wheels turning, then they have an entire building dedicated to the Robotics program :banderas:

All in all good times ... Hail!

I think this will be a bad year. I truly believe Jim loves Michigan but he really wanted to leave IMO.

The administration is on it's high horse about student athletes and slow to the NIL. This a new day and age. Pay the players man.

I really believe Jim is frustrated and I am too as a fan.

Don't matter how good the scheme is. College football is about the Jimmy's and Joe's.

I think I'm starting to lose interest in Michigan football
