Sohh ... My kid went to their camp last week. He did his thing & competed the lvl of comp was stark compared to G Tech where he was week b4. He was fastest of his class ('26) & most of the one older @ his position. Coach, I'm assuming Clink because the kid 4got his name :snoop:, wanted him to come back next year to "see his growth" dont know wha that means but the kid was feeling the feedback. Met Harbs & he was cool as a f'n fan just chopping it up w/ him. Saw Mike Hart just had to give breh a pound. Their facilities are sick we started off @ the big house then went to the weight room & indoor facilities. All around the weight room were signs "what are you doing to beat O$U today?"

I was trying my damndest to not fan boy out as I was there for the kids business but as a dad taking his son :myman:. For the kid seeing that he can compete @ that lvl you can see the wheels turning, then they have an entire building dedicated to the Robotics program :banderas:

All in all good times ... Hail!

Dude i missed this post, I’m literally excited for you fam, that’s huge, hope the lil man does his thing and we can see him at the big house one day, I’m sure seeing all that had to be huge, and talking to Jim has to be a bonus.
I think this will be a bad year. I truly believe Jim loves Michigan but he really wanted to leave IMO.

The administration is on it's high horse about student athletes and slow to the NIL. This a new day and age. Pay the players man.

I really believe Jim is frustrated and I am too as a fan.

Don't matter how good the scheme is. College football is about the Jimmy's and Joe's.

I think I'm starting to lose interest in Michigan football

I think a lot of the talent we stock piled is coming along and may shock people, i think it’s fear of the unknown that has people wondering, but let’s just let the season play out

Like i said on the podcast, this was a perfect opportunity for everyone to walk away amicably, but such is life, harbs ain’t get that job so back to the grind stone, he was able to reshuffle the staff, hopefully it produces some dividends, also hopefully we have some new innovations in the passing game to make use of all these wrs

The money is getting to the kids on campus, the biggest issue is we aren’t big game hunting with checks in hand which is fine with me because you probably save yourself some headaches, in the long run, my only critique is make transferring into Michigan easier for the love of god, it’s so much talent we could get second hand if kids could come in after the fact

Ya'll see this shyt? ^^^^

The Carr's need to go get fukked. They've been living off Michigan donations to the Chad Tough Foundation for the past few years.. and 1) they have the nerve to ask for 2m for CJ's commitment? :wtf: 2) Bad mouth Michigan because they didn't get what they wanted?

Read John Bacons book on the Rich Rod years. Carr has always been a fukk boy. Lived off the one national title when Michigan had recruiting and talent at near Alabama today level largely because of Moeller. Only Miami had more NFL players. Essentially had the greatest QB of all-time backing up Brian Griese and in a Qb battle with a gotdamn freshman Drew Henson. Tom was having anxiety attacks and shyt and had to see a shrink. That 1999 team should’ve had the honor of being destroyed in the BCS championship if not for Lloyd Carr fukkery starting Drew Henson against State and that fraud Jim Herrmann defense that couldn’t stop anything.

Then at the end, basically ceded Big Ten dominance to Tressel ball and stopped recruiting completely and tanked Michigan’s program out of spite. Rich Rod basically had to build a program from scratch.

People forget because of the bad years how stressed the fukk out Carr had this fan base for many years. I remember my dad walking away from the TV in disgust as Carr would punt on 4th and inches.

Nah this will be the best offensive team Michigan has ever had. The WR corps is stacked. RB is stacked. Cade is a top end game manager who had one of get most accurate deep balls according to PFF. McCarthy is a generational talent as a back up if Cade is lacking. The offensive line is deep and stacked. Should be fun and score a lot of points. Would be shocked if they don’t hit 50ppg after the first 5 games of the season.

The defense will be in rebuild mode but with 8 home games and a really easy schedule they should build into something decent.

Michigan will be in the mix this year and is a top 10 team. The thing is the gap between the top 4 teams in the nation and 5-10 is so massive and unfortunately one of those top 4 teams is in our conference and we have to go their this year.

You won’t see the failure in this years recruiting until 2023 or so.

I take what bacon says with a grain of salt, I’m sure it may be some truth to carr was doggin it, but the previous seasons before retirement we lost to a stacked usc and VY lead Texas, and we looked competent in those games. we were humming on all cylinders, the biggest issue was offensive innovation, carr wasn’t necessarily moving forward. If we stayed on the same projections i don’t think we fall off like we did, those rich rod years set us back recruiting wise badly along with hoke.

This class isn’t world class but it will add depth and some gems, we are not the top 1% so every class will not be a banger, but also keep in mind, osu for all their might has missed on a lot of kids and have only signed big wrs no help on defense

Anytime I think of Lloyd I always think back to his last game, the bowl game against Florida. These dudes came out with a completely different offensive gameplan than they ran at any point in years. The offense was amazing that game. I remember sitting there like where the fukk was this shyt the last few years(outside of the games where Braylon complete took over). I'm not saying dude didn't give a fukk those last year's but damn what could have been.
