I expect Jabrill to get some touches this week. Going to have to use our speed guys against them.
Yep our LB is still the best playmaker on the team:wow: Wis coach called him the best player in CFB.I'm excited for this game I want to see if these guys can win a big game:leostare:.I expect to see a lot Smith as well since he's the best blocking RB on the team we gonna need it those Wis LB's blitz&stunt a ton. Speight gonna need time&be accurate on those short intermediate routes

How Michigan QB Wilton Speight's start compares to Jake Rudock's last year

How does Speight's start stack up against Rudock's? Here are their statistics through their first four starts at Michigan:

Rudock
73 for 116, 776 yards, 4 TD, 5 INT

Speight
72 for 114, 875 yards, 9 TD, 1 INT

• While Rudock and Speight are almost identical in their attempts and completions, the differences in touchdowns and interceptions stand out. Rudock threw only five interceptions during the entire 2014 season at Iowa but matched that number in his first four starts at Michigan. Speight has now attempted 113 straight passes without an interception since the pick against Hawaii. He did get drilled by a corner blitz and had a fumble that was returned for a touchdown against Colorado.

• Speight has the Wolverines off to their first 4-0 start in three years but all four games have been at Michigan Stadium against unranked opponents. Rudock's first start for the Wolverines came in a 24-17 loss at Utah and the next three were wins at home, including a 31-0 victory over then-No. 22 BYU.

• The Wolverines have outscored their opponents 208-55 and their 52.0 points-per-game average ranks fourth in the nation. Through four games last year, Michigan outscored its opponents 111-38 and averaged 27.8 points per game.

• It took the majority of last season before Rudock really attacked defenses vertically, as he hit a groove late and went on to be drafted in the sixth round by the Detroit Lions. Through four games, he averaged 10.6 yards per completion. Speight is averaging 12.1 yards per completion so far.

• Speight is primarily targeting the same players Rudock did a year ago, which isn't a surprise, given that Michigan returned the bulk of its skill position players. Through four games last season, receiver Amara Darboh had 20 catches for 242 yards and two touchdowns, followed by tight end Jake Butt (15 catches, 173 yards, one touchdown) and receiver Jehu Chesson (seven catches, 65 yards, zero touchdowns). This season, Butt has 19 receptions for 234 yards and three TDs, followed by Darboh (17 catches, 248 yards, four TDs) and Chesson (eight catches, 145 yards).

Its not shocking really the pass game is way ahead of where it was last year at this point in time.Utah on the road was tougher then any game we've played so far but CU>>>>>>>>>>>>>BYU hell I argue CU this year is better then Utah last year especially with their QB healthy:yeshrug:. Speight has done a good job protecting the ball which is what Harbaugh stresses especially with a defense that's supposed to be stout.Run the ball play action pass move the chains we should be fine

It's not a fair comparison because the run game seems to be more dominant early on than it was last year (I could be wrong) and both Jake and the WRs were learning the offense. There were way too many miscues that were not Jake's fault. This is Speight's first year starting but everybody else on that offense (aside from a few RBs) has a year under their belt in that system.
