Also guys we would love to be up 28-0 in the first quarter but this ain’t madden, and that’s not to say i don’t get upset, but if teams with comparable talent or better has their struggles, you know we will, long as we a head when the clock reads 0:00 in the 4th I’m going to be ok
I don't think anybody's really upset about close games and whatnot. I think (at least this is MY problem) the issue of the coaching staff falling into the same patterns that's gotten us in trouble in the past, keeps repeating itself. These are issues that won't let us be competitive against the Georgia's and Bama's of the world.

We could be clicking on all cylinders. Oline. Dline. Receivers. Backs. QB.

All of em.

And if we call the game like we have been (aka how we did in the playoffs last year) .. we're gonna get throttled again. I want the staff to show growth. The players have.. the coaches tho? :francis:

I will grant you some growth, I’ll raise you guys have to step up, and tighten up some mental lapses because when we play the Death Star of our conference and ( all things go great) the 1% of cfb that’s the deference between winning and losing because we don’t have a erasure of mistakes or talent deficits

Not every team will let you back because of halftime adjustments. you get down vs OSU Georgia or TN and you probably gonna struggle to come back.

Got to got to come out and hit when a wr is open deep early, and have to score in the redzone

If Purdue beats Illinois, then the winner of Iowa vs Wisconsin will most likely go to the B1G championship game. I say most likely because Illinois could still make it if they beat Michigan.

Apparently, some of the late scratches were because of flu-like symptoms. For the most part, I thought Persi was virtually indistinguishable from Hayes. That's good news because they'll probably lose 4 starters from this line (Covid eligibility confuses me). Oh and it's crazy to see how much Mouten's regressed, Paige is also a good player, but man RJ's just in the wrong spots.

I was having this convo with a friend recently. I know he won't be a finalist for something like the Bilentnikoff award but do you guys think Ronnie Bell will be drafted? I think he has a nice skill set that will transfer over with his route running. I know he isn't able to show game in/out with the emphasis on the run but I think his ceiling is 2nd round but he may be drafted in the fourth.

I think they may take a flier on him.. but to me.. he doesn't come close to the receivers that Jehu Chesson and Amarah Darboh were. And the league basically just shoo'd them both away. But I dont know. :manny:

Naw honestly I can see him going undrafted. That's how weak our WR position is. I bet Belicheck will pick him up in FA and make something out of him

It’s nothing that he does that’s exceptional, he’s a serviceable wr, the nfl can always use those. I also think about our passing game isn’t going to show case a wr like that plus it takes two seasons to come back from that acl i don’t care what the doctors say. Someone will take a flyer on him he might blow up like DPJ in Cleveland, (which i honestly didn’t see)
