With everything we lost year, a lot of people didn't expect us to be back.

But I will say this is probably the worse loss in michigan football history in my lifetime. The betting odds favorite, numbers as well but fukk analytics at this point...

Was that Minter calling plays OR the "legend" Don Brown with the craziest blitz packages? They even said it during the broadcast basically if you come for the King, you better not miss.. They were getting close to Dungan but he's a master of the hot read, never panicked, and TCU's offensive coordinator out coached minter

And I just said it in the game thread but I will repeat myself. Edwards running and making big plays ONLY works when he can get past the d-line untouched, he can't defend himself with ONE HAND. Mullings is fukkin trash and we never got anything from him. That's on Harbaugh and the offensive coaching staff that we couldn't develop ONE RB behind edwards for the last 6 weeks!!!!!!

TCU wasn't worried about edwards after that first one and knew damn near every play JJ had to throw.

So pissed man, I mean Football is such a weird sport, especially with injuries, you never know how it will go. We also need to develop someone behind JJ. I hope we can get back again next year but two back to back chances in the playoffs going to waste like this.. You never know..:snoop:

Damnit we needed blake :to:
Yeah y'all needed a back who can bang in between and break one to let Edwards play the Reggie Bush role, the one thing I don't understand is why y'all don't design some runs for JJ especially inside the 5, he can easily pick up 2 or 3 in short yardage situations.

I don't know what Harbaugh and Moore were thinking on the 4th and goal call and the Roman td take back was some bullshyt, they don't reverse that during the season so why reverse it in the bowl game.

I get the hurt, but the biggest issue, no one to turn up the heat on tcu, and we had been playing with house money, and we finally had to pay, it’s harder to generate chaos from behind especially when you have to manufacture pressure vs a guy that can go get it.

Max was making 1:1 throws that 8 out 10 times he’s not getting, falling backwards with a guy in your face is not some master of blitz pick up, it’s luck man, I’m not denying his skill but it’s luck too

Add to the fact two pick 6’s
Blake hurt
Sc00n hurt
Missed tackles
Missed assignments
Run a Philly special on the goal line
A TD taken away and a fumble on the next play

We started the game behind the 8 ball and still almost won it

I’m not sure if it was a fear of JJ getting hurt, or that’s not his steez but yes more qb runs, especially around the goal line

That Philly special I’m like nope, imagine if edwards actually scores :mjcry:

(Should still be App State)
No offense man, but TCU is really good. I told ppl this wasn't a Cincinnati situation. Garrett Riley is really good, Patterson left some good defensive talent, and Quentin Johnston has been a monster for 2 years.

If TCU and UM played 10 times, Michigan would probably win 6 or 7 outta 10, but TCU is def capable of winning a few times.

My prediction was that TCU wouldn't be able to stop the run, but they def slowed it down and got ahead....and I said yoy don't want it to become a passing game bc defensively they are built just for that.

Can’t believe Edwards didn’t get to the end zone. But that aside, this team was just ready to play.

That Roman call changed the momentum entirely but the call after it was egregious. Mullings is awful at RB. And then on a play you have never run. Come on man he’s not Haskins. 14-10 is an entirely different ball game than 14-3 and eventually 21-3. We never overcame that deficit.

Great game y’all. My thoughts are mostly the same as y’all’s bc I thought you should’ve won and a few minor things cost a W despite the TOs

That TD overturned was complete cap, and that was targeting on the final play

Why not run #7 at the goal line tho?

Why cutsie pass plays at the goal line? Pound it in, you have the best O line in the country?

The fire Harbaugh shyt I’ve seen is stupid af too, man can obviously coach and is at the level of competing for titles.

In Harbaugh's defense.. all of the boards are saying that Edwards was having difficulty holding onto the ball with the cast still on his primary hand. I can see not wanting to risk it.. but Mullings is no longer a RB. He could've just ran JJ there.. or gave a carry to Dunlap (who doesn't fumble) at the goal line.

shyt still stings.

We'll be back next year. Especially if Blake comes back.

The play calling all year looked like they didn’t trust JJ. And if that’s the case, why did you give him the job? That’s an obvious QB sneak situation.

The offensive coaching staff shyt the bed. No other way to put it. Hopefully they learn from this. And Warren is still playing with a cast in his hand. They were probably worried about him at the goal line. He’s been less shifty ever since injuring it. There were a few times that the regular him would’ve cut back. I thought losing Luke was huge too because that’s JJ’s short yardage safety blanket and our best TE blocker. The back ups missed a lot of weak side blocks.

Honestly it feels like Harbaugh just wants to lean on his running game no matter who the QB is which is fine, but in a shootout like yesterday, you need a QB who you can trust, you couldn't trust Cade against UGA and he didn't trust JJ against TCU, with as hard as they were run blitzing, play fakes and crossing routes should of been the game plan til they respectes the pass.

The funny think is, JJ ain't afraid of contact, we saw that in the OSU game and the run he had in the 1st when he got popped on the sidelines, but it ain't JJ is afraid to lower his head and fight for yards.

Whatever the hand injury was that Edwards has gotta be crazy cause he was dealing with it for like 2 months it seems.

That's why I need y'all to get a reliable pass game cause both backs got banged up at the end and that took away y'all biggest threats.

I don’t think it was a lack of trust, i think harbs trusted the ocs but they needed to switch up and pass, with 6-5 in the box at all the time
