I think after just getting our ass whooped by a team we took lightly for a month, the last thing any of our fans or players should be doing is taking teams lightly for the next 9 months.

i want him to stay...they keep getting closer.
I want him to stay too but if he doesn't want to be here long term might as well leave. He's killing our recruiting classes doing this every year. At least we will know his final answer some time next week after NFL teams start firing their coaches.

Coaches are wired different, in particular jim is def wired differently but…
I always look at other jobs as they pop up because you never know if you might find something better or comparable with less stress, obviously i can be way more discreet than he can
This could literally be a media frenzy and his agent doing his due diligence to sniff out possible offers, while Jim is just chilling til he goes back on campus, and it’s business as usual
Sometimes agents create smoke to put guys on radars though the client may be good where they are
He could also want a new challenge

Recruits sign on to programs for a myriad of reasons and coaching stability plays a role but realistically it’s only a few coaches you know ain’t going no where these kids understand the business of the game

that OSU head coach Wes Fesler took a interview with the Chicago Bears in 1947 but decided to remain at OSU. Ironically 1947 is just one year before scUM last undisputed natty.
