Big question so do we run it back with Wink? His defenses are solid but not spectacular. I think the defense under achieved last year and was just ok this year. Wouldn’t be sad to see him walk.


What about Sherrone? Gotta give him one more year right?

I don't think we had great pass rushers. Moore is good but not twitchy. Doesn't have bend.

Barham was vastly overrated. Without being able to pressure with just 4 it gave QB plenty of time to attack our young secondary. So I'm not sure what to do with Wink. Not his biggest fan. He blitzes way too much at times.

Who is out there to replace Wink?

Barham was vastly overrated. Without being able to pressure with just 4 it gave QB plenty of time to attack our young secondary. So I'm not sure what to do with Wink. Not his biggest fan. He blitzes way too much at times.

We got some crazy young talent. I think Nate Marshall gonna be elite but he has the potential to take the NIL bag elsewhere. Probably gotta hit the portal and grab LB.

Not big fan of Wink but I am much more focused on the development of the passing game. The schedule next year is going to be hard. They MUST develop Bryce, he wasn't ready but he didn't seem to get better throughout the year too. I would be more interested in getting rid of Chip if there needs to be change, he was essentially brought in for the passing game. They will be focused on getting WRs in the portal but this passing game has to develop.

Maye looked better with Longo as the coordinator than Chip, his Longo year is why the NFL was still high on him. Moves around a lot and not up either (more OC roles or low level HC roles). Not sure where you are getting great OC from, he was close to getting fired from Auburn. Bryce looked his best in the first two games, nothing showed me he got much better from there. That's coaching, Michigan has to make the playoffs next year or this whole staff is gone, too much is being spent to not make it.

I expected something like 16-27, so the final score is whatever. I wasn't sure how they were going to score or sustain drives without Justice and Jordan, apparently the coaching staff hadn't figured that out either. The offensive game plan was horrendous, they can't seriously think they set the players up for success with it.

Not if Baylor fires Dave Aranda and I'd see if Jim Leonhard wants to comeback to college too (probably not).

At the very least they should bring Doug Mallory back as an analyst, he was Jesse's guy wrt helping design coverages and he doesn't work for the Ravens anymore (hasn't all season).

moore let chip run the offense…the offense just isnt very good outside of the things moore teams always excel at.

no way people saw bryce panic and make bad reads all day and believe throwing it 30-40 x against elite defenses would work this year.

Drake Maye himself credits Chip with development even if statistically he looked better with Longo.

Bryce’s best games were Maryland, NW. Hell even Washington and Wisconsin games clear New Mexico and Central Michigan was the easiest game on the schedule.
