It seems they put a proper amount of time into the gameplay to satisfy hardcore 2K fans who cop every year regardless. Cause they didn't touch much else in terms of detail, presentation, modes and art. I think that's because all that shyt will be redone in NG anyway. The gameplay will too, but that isn't in need of a major overhaul like all that stuff I named are.

Another thing is that they barely had any marketing for the current-gen. My "botanist" plays the game but don't really be into the gaming news world like me, and he didn't even know the game was coming out on Tuesday. I think they are gonna go hard as fukk promoting the next-gen version because a.) it can be a system seller as a launch game b.) they damn sure saved some $ after not promoting this at all c.) this will be a new release time for them. The NBA season will be going on when its drops on the next gen, that's a unique opportunity for 2K/Live/Madden to really push this game. I think they are about to go all in. Hopefully they go all in on the game too. That trailer that dropped in the summer was so it's looking up IMO, when a week ago I didn't think I was gonna buy this. But now I kinda understand their plan, and if the gameplay is as good as it seems to be, I'm cool with them punting on a lot of the extra shyt.

No excuses for next-gen tho especially if Live is ANY good.
