Pre-orders are live on Walmart right now shipping for June 5th.

Was able to preorder one in this batch from Walmart…but lots of people on twitter are saying these orders are getting canceled…

Honestly, not surprising considering most aren't going to pay to use the 64GB version. Actually give my props to CDPR for fitting Cyberpunk on the cartridge.

Outside of Nintendo First Party games, no real point in buying physical.

Ease of moving the game between different systems on different accounts. You can trade games with people long term with a game key card with out giving your account info.

It's BS that they put such a small amount of internal storage in this and they're also pushing all these third party games to require installs. That's gonna gobble up that storage quick. We're at the point now where no device that relies on having extra storage should be coming with less than 512GB of storage and really that should be 1TB.

I doubt them going from 256 to 512GBs really increases their cost that much.

The Duality of Man :troll:

They are not entitled to a Nintendo product at a given price they prefer. If they don't like what Nintendo is charging they should just not buy the product and keep it moving. Instead they're out here harassing people online and throwing tantrums. Nintendo can charge whatever the hell they want. Same with Mario Kart World being $80. Don't like it don't buy it.

They aren't above criticism for anti-consumer tactics.

You seem to be confusing my argument that people shouldn't be raiding livestreams throwing tantrums over price increases when they can raise the baseline price of their product and nobody is entitled to a product at the same standardized price forever with a blanket shield for anti-consumer behavior.

On the Switch for the most part you could buy physical games and not need the internal storage for anything other than save files.

Now purchase a physical game and that's mostly a required download. There's no real way to opt out of downloading games when 90% of them require one. Knowing this they shorted the amount of storage the system has to push you to buy an overpriced accessory to compensate. Hell the Mario Kart game is going to consume over 10% of people's system memory not even factoring in system memory requirements.

Physical games shouldn't require download. If people wanted digital they'd buy digital.
