Bro I want a Fujifilm XT5. It came out at 1699.95. It's now 2k Body only. It was new in 2022! In 2026, it costs more new. WTF!

Let's not forget good quality SD cards, and external drives for storage. Hell Sony basically just announced they aren't producing any more SD cards for the rest of 2026 and possibly 2027

man... i was eyeing a 1tb CFexpress A card around cybermonday, for $280. same card right now is $899.99
My man. XT2 gang! Got mine during the pandemic for $450ish and I don't even think it had more than 400 actuations. It stays with a Speedmaster 35mm on it. I have GAS though so I'm looking at the rangefinder style and the base XT5 to see if I cop in the next year.Yup, and thanks for mentioning that. I should stock up on storage. It's gonna get ugly as fukk.

1 TB is heavy. I shoot 6 hour events on a 500Gig with 200 gig to spare
Storage and memory prices are through the roof right now. About a year ago I bought a PNY NVME 1TB drive for $60, same drive now is $160, a 2TB is damn near $300.
I exclusively do video. Storage prices have forced me to add a 60 day limit on storing client footage. If we don’t have an active project, after 60 days, I’m deleting the raw footage.
