I don't think the Celtics are going to trade Rondo but I don't see the need in them keeping him. Unless they have a specific plan and even if they end up with Wiggins it's gonna take three or four years for them to be contenders again. And by then Rondo would probably be out of his prime. Or maybe they want to compete to be a 7th or 8th seed with him which wouldn't make any sense at all.

The Celtics were lucky to get Kris Kardashian for Paul Pierce. Shows how valuable he was. :troll: :flabbynsick:

rondo for shane larkin, shawn marion and a first

The problem is, Boston knows that will be a late 1st and they don't have a 2014 1st after 20 pick or it goes to LAL. In other words, Dallas needs to take some contracts but Dallas can't if D12 wants to come so it's messy. I think someone is willing to give an exp for Rondo and Wallace. It could happen.

Look at the Lakers.
#1 pick's GM hat :boss:

They could trade Pau Gasol and a 2014 1st rounder for Rondo and Wallace. Amnesty MWP and flip Nash to another team for a 2nd rounder or a role player who can shoot like??? :lupe:

Rondo
Kobe
Wallace
Shooting PF
D12
:lupe: :lupe: :lupe:

It's clear why Stein would want Dirk. Dirk has trade value that could them some prospects and picks. Dirk would be able to clear them of Wallace contract as well as Rondo who is the centerpiece. It's smart business for Boston. I think it's fair for them to ask for Dirk if they want to get Rondo without having to lost their cap for D12.

I don't think Boston cares about Kris contract. He is a tank player and he is exp. His contract is great for tanking. The one they want to get rid of is Wallace.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding

I personally want to see this.

Keeping him goes against everything they're doing, because he will carry them to either the playoffs or damn close enough to not have a good shot at a top 5 pick.

People with the "he was only good cause of KG and Pierce (and Ray)" argument are gonna look really stupid.

It's always funny to hear people use that argument, and then turn around in another thread and say that the Big Three are flabby and sick.
