Close fight. Watching it the first time I thought Kov edged out the victory. Then I watched the replay and thought it was a draw. Ward definitely did his thing to get back into the fight with them body shots and hooks. I'll definitely tune in for the rematch.

Pulled for Ward last night but I had a draw. Can't argue either fighter getting the close nod. Ward dug himself into hole with the KD but once the body shots started connecting it opened Kovalev up to everything else. Ward controlled the 2nd half of the fight. Fight lived up to the hype and how often does that happen?

just dont see how anyone can say with a straight face that the winner of last night's fight should still be ranked lower than GGG.my god.
the fight was debatable, I have no problem with people saying Kovalev won. the winner of last night's fight is deserving of the #1 ranking. also, there is a world of difference between a 160lber dominating a 147lber and Kovalev dominating B-Hop, something no one has ever done that I recall.
ward of last night stops little g. there's levels to this, and little g is not on the same level as ward and kovalev.

Based on what exactly? Ward took on a larger guy got dropped never lost composure and won a close decision. No way he could KO Ward. Kovalev hits harder than GGG and is 15lbs heavier Ward would brush off GGG something serious. We would never know though since GGG won't move up. GGG would be in a world of shyt with Ward.

I think this thread makes it crystal clear that some of these kids in this thread and forum may like to talk about boxing, all time performances but definitely don't know how to score and what to watch for during a inside clinch fight or seeing body shots as the same as power punches. I have no idea how anyone can logically act like the Knockdown decided the fight. It's one of the dumbest commentaries on the fight in general.
