He was a very dynamic on both sides of the field at a collegiate level. But for those of us who watch there were times he got absolutley abused by receivers, and in the NFL they're all faster and stronger. That both sides of the field isn't going to work with his frail 185lb fame. Playing WR full time will be his only saving grace in the NFL and time will tell, and um....Trevor Lawrence.

To clarify what I mean by bust Hes a top 2 pick that won't ever make a Probowl, win any awards, be an All pro, or be on any first offense/defense teams.

To to detriment of my credibility, I will co-sign this thread :francis:

But for different reasons.

I truly believe Travis Hunter is a HOF/Champ Bailey-like talent at corner

I think he is a serviceable NFL WR.

The Jags should be playing him full-time at corner and coming in at WR for special plays (exactly like Prime) rather than vice-versa.

Trash decision IMO but time will tell. Willing to be wrong because that kid is such a great person

I'm not going to say he'll be a bust, but I do think there are valid questions about him.

If you're going to be a top five pick, you pretty much need to be viewed as elite on one side of the ball. It's nice to be very good on both sides, but it may be a situation where two half dollars don't equal one dollar. Maybe he's better on both sides than I think he may be, but I think there are valid questions about his ability to play at a high level on both sides of the ball.

Would you rather have one player that may be a top 20 WR and a top 20 DB, or a player that may be a top 5 WR/5 CB? I'd rather the second.

I am not a Travis “fan”

But the talent is there. I’ve been called a hater of the kid all up and down his career but he has something you can’t teach at corner, esp this past season…

Trust I post that same video everytime someone says he’s the greatest CFB ever (child please lol) but..he’s got some elite ball skills recovery etc.

He's already dinged up after one preseason game. I think this will continue to happen if he plays both sidea

He needs to ditch the idea of playing defense imo. Trevor Lawrence needs all the help he can get
