It's very tragic in a sense of all the history. You cannot just think of WCW, but also the NWA days of the Crockett era when it started. Then to have the PPV's in the end being like Sin, Greed like shyt from the Bible. Not to mention Kidman & Rey winning the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team titles, the first ever title crowning, at the worst place ever... Panama Beach.
Seriously, why not a big sendoff show at like the Atlanta Dome? Why Panama Beach, which is known mostly for Spring Break. I find that to be the most shyt way to end a promotion, and when TNA goes under which looks to happen, it won't be as tragic to say the least.

The f*ckery of WCW post 2000 was on epic levels. This is all you gotta see to know about those 2 years ('99-01) of complete and utter disgrace.

I see why I stopped watching wrestling around this time.
You should have kept watching... WCW 2000 was the greatest comedy show post-Seinfeld and Martin.
WCW in the end was sad when you consider what it was from NWA/WCW in the late 80's, early 90's.
But I mean I guess it was coming. Even when Hogan first got there it was cheesy.....some of the characters were terrible. The stuff with Kevin Sullivan..... The Bootyman..... Just a bunch of cheesy/silly stuff. Only reason anyone went there was for money.....and that only took them so far b/c the few good things they had were corrupted by greed.
Even at the height of the Monday Night wars, their PPV's were still 2nd class to WWF in terms of getting ur money's worth.

But they were awesome names. Although I am glad we didn't get into WCW Sloth, WCW Gluttony, WCW Lust, WCW Envy, and WCW Wrath. I doubt they would do WCW Pride.
