The official working from home because of Coronavirus APPRECIATION thread

I don’t have to come in tomorrow, and I’m home for 2 weeks.

I been sneezing all over the office this past week and a half. I'm sure it's just allergies but im surprised they havent told me to stay the fukk home yet.

Our DOC team had one or two people sick last month and they had all of them work from home for over a week.

We had a meeting first thing today. We always have these meetings, but this was just about people working from home. My friend’s job is shipping them computers to work from home.

Jobs still have desktop computers?
I cant recall the last company i worked for that had my main computer as a desktop computer. Must have been... like before 2006.
My last job I had a desktop but it was just a random dekstop i had the IT department loan me for testing crap. My actual work computer was a laptop. Actually it was my own laptop because we had a BYOD (bring your own device) option because some people preferred to work with a MAC or Linux.

If you opted NOT to use the company's assigned laptop, the company would then give you $1500 for you to purchase your own with the condition that you are responsible for its hardware and warranty.

Damn! I assumed most if not all cmpanies switched. I mean... not sure how much sense a desktop still makes in a work environment.
