I remember getting one for Christmas in 89. Played with the neighborhood kids and placed it on top of the trash can. We were playing around and someone pushed me into the trash can and it fell breaking :mjcry:

My first set of stereo earphones unlike the cheap ones that were popular in the the 80's.. EPMD and NWA sounded totally different coming out of some real earphones.

I remember buying a used one @ gamestop (it might’ve been funcoland back then...don’t remember)...then buying one from kaybee toys and swapping them out and changing the serial # stickers...returned the used one to kaybee...flawless execution...ahh the memories :banderas:

If you had an original gameboy you were automatically rich to me. Reason being most ppl had a nintendo bc even if your family didn't have shyt, the cultural impact was just so powerful parents did whatever necessary to get one. But to have a video game system that you could play ANYWHERE?? Sheittt
