Lakers #1, if you don't agree kill yaself
Bull gotta be Top 5ish off the strength of the GOAT alone
Until OKC actually cashes in I can't put them Top 10 and even then I don't see why they'd be above teams like the Bucks or Mavs. They pretty much grouped with teams like the Suns for now
They're def running an operation and got a window to compete for some time
NBA 2k has the sonics/thunder all time team on the same squadNobody considers the Oklahoma City Thunder history as connected to Seattle Sonics history.
No matter what semantics you want to play here.
The same way nobody ever considered The Utah Jazz history as connected to the New Orleans Jazz of the ABA.
You did all this blathering to convince no one but yourself.

The heat 9? Wtf
A franchise that has been top five in playoff wins since the 90s are somehow below the bum ass Knicks and the one man show Bulls. Hell the warriors are a one man show as well.
Please.![]()
I get what people saying but I dont know why nikkas acting like they never heard of a defunct franchise's history being part of the same franchise in a new city...Teams who only won a single NBA championship :
Wizards/Bullets (1978)
Mavericks(2011)
Cavaliers (2016)
Raptors (2019)
Nuggets (2023)
Teams who won two NBA championships: Knicks, (1970, 1973)
Rockets (1994,1995)
Bucks (1971,2021)
Teams who won three NBA championships:
Sixers( 1955, 1967, 1983… but they won their 1955 championship as the Syracuse nationals)
Pistons ( 1989, 1990, 2004)
Heat ( 2006, 2012,2013)
No teams won 4 nba Championships
Teams who won 5 championships:
Spurs(1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2014)
Teams who won 6 championships:
Bulls ( 1991,1992, 1993 1996,1997, 1998)
Teams who won 7 championships:
Warriors- 2 titles won (1947 and 1956) as the Philadelphia warriors, 5 titles won ( 1975, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2022) as the San Francisco Warriors
Teams who won more than 10 championships:
Lakers : 17 championships
( five titles won as the Minneapolis lakers, 12 titles won as Los Angeles lakers )
Celtics 19 championships, all won as Boston Celtics.
The Magic, jazz, hornets, nets, pacers, Timberwolves, OKC thunder*, Atlanta hawks* , la clippers, pelicans, grizzlies never won a chip.
The Atlanta Hawks* won a nba championship title but as the St.Louis Hawks in 1958, 10 years before their permanent relocation to Atlanta.
OKC Thunder* won a title in 1979 as the Seattle SuperSonics, 29 years before their permanent relocation to Oklahoma City.
You really aint that brightPutting Heat at 9 is just part of the Campaign™ iykyk
Yeah, he pretty did similar to Sam Hinkie but they’re a small market, so you don’t have people like Stephen A. Smith on television daily calling for Sam Presti to be fired for “making a mockery of the system”Nope. Presti did exactly nothing but be lucky enough to have the player that Kawhi wanted to play with so he got to bend the clippers over a barrel, and then somehow egregiously tanked under the radar (because nobody gives a single fukk about anything related to Oklahoma) while Hinke took all the heat. They ran Hinke out the league for tanking meanwhile Presti was literally telling Hortford and Kemba to stay at home so he could loose games and suffered nothing because of it.
No GM has had it easier than Presti over the last decade. Got infinite picks tanking to the point you can damn near make a team out of all his misses.
Next season will be the first time his job will actually be located somewhere else other than Easy Street. Shai is up for a massive supermax. J Will made all nba this year qualifying him for one. Highly likely Chet makes it once over the next two years. Let's see Presti keep his core 3 guys together without spending over 80% of the cap on them. Let's see him actually get outside players who want to play there instead of being able to overpay NotBlackenstein because his two best players are on rookie contracts. Let's see him actually have to manage the cap like everyone else, which somehow is the part of a GM's job no one seems to judge, and something Presti hasn't had to do in at least 4 years.
