I heard it went too long, never seen it tho.problem with tv dramas these days is they tend to build too high of expectations, we see it every sunday in the walking dead threads.

But I also agree the writers had no idea what to do with the supporting cast. Which season was it again they had half the team investigating some Hispanic gang hit that had absolutely nothing to do with the main plot whatsoever?

I agree:

*Quinn SUCKED! No purpose for him on that show at all
*Masuka got stale in dem last few seasons, it's only so long you can be a perv and be entertaining about it. Should of have him fell in love with a young tenderoni and have him struggling to give up his player ways or something.
*Captain Matthews was UNDERUSED! Could of have him as the source for Dexter of revealing some of his past but they dropped the ball on him
*Batista was useless in the sense of he was just blind to everything and they kept showing his failed relationships... I cared about none of that

Only characters that was actually and/or somewhat important were: Debra, LaGuerta and Doakes.... Anderson had potential.
