You can't be both the Nation-State of the Jewish people *and* a democracy. One means treating other's as a lesser, and that comes with having less rights, and no say in how they're governed. Besides, they're the same to the people that's being oppressed.

North Korea does not elect their leader. Netanyahu will not remain in power forever. Even some say he is gone after the war is over. When a nation is at war, the president or prime Minister is effectively a dictator...go check what Abe Lincoln was up to when he kept the union from falling apart.
