Another Lakers star, another settlement in a high profile rape case ... with Nick Young reaching an agreement with his accuser -- exactly 10 years after Kobe Bryant settled with his.

As we previously reported, Iggy Azalea's fiance was sued by a woman who claims Swaggy slipped a date rape drug in her drink at a Hollywood bar in 2011 ... and then raped her back at his place.

The woman claimed she went to the UCLA Santa Monica Rape Treatment Center following the incident -- and an exam proved she had injuries consistent with rape.

The accuser demanded $3 MILLION to make the case go away -- but Nick refused to settle for years.

But now we've learned the two sides did work out a deal and the case has been dismissed. The terms of the settlement are confidential.

FYI -- a settlement does NOT indicate any admission of guilt. There are many reasons why people settle including high court costs, time commitments and the embarrassment of a trial.

Why settle if not guilty? :aicmon:

fukk the court costs, time commitment....with his resources he should do everything in his power to prove the accuser wrong
because even if it goes to trial and hes found innocent, he will forever be marked a rapist in the court of public opinion

see Kobe for example

its fukked up

Probably didn't want that headache, and he probably didn't want the details of his sexual escapades released. Those trials get all into your personal shyt. Settling is sometimes the best way to deal with it.
IMO: If he was really guilty, she would have pressed charges.
