The movie is kinda okay except for some of the fight scenes looking like they came out of batman 66, then that skeleton killing that dude in the beginning was (it had ajax from the warriors in it....film had to be good )

The Phantom reminds me of The Spirit, and I just realized while typing this that their names are pretty much the same thing

got similar stories, domino masks... I'm sure they're both a retooling of the same ancient story passed down, not sure which though...

Whoever owns the rights to the King characters really needs to get onto this comic book movie gravy train and start working on their own cinematic universe. The current comics they are putting out are pretty good and could serve as the groundwork for their movies.

Dynamite comics just started publishing them about a year ot two ago. they put them in a shared universe and have Flash Gordon, Mandrake, The Phantom and Lothar in a team just like that old Defenders of the Earth cartoon:


I loved that theme song...dude was singing the fukk out of it.
