I think one of the most effective ways to keep a rapper's memory alive after they've passed is to use their voice in samples. Now southern rappers had been sampling Pimp C's voice even before he passed, but it's increased exponentially since. So this thread is to post the songs that sample his voice AND the original song. I'll start it off with a daily double:



The chorus, as we all know, comes from International Players Anthem:



But the verse itself comes from this little known song:

Not from Bama but I been having an ear to the streets up there for a minute. I been a fan of KD's since his first mixtape with Burn One Last man Standing. He caught my ear b/c he use to have a lot of samples from Houston cats and his style was similar.
