Let's be real you're more likely to get a police state than an uprising, just look at legislation in the last decade if you have any doubt of that Also late 18th century revolutionary France didn't have a trillion dollar entertainment industrial complex.. don't undervalue it's role in keeping a population complacent and perplexed.

On the flip side no amount of entertainment can distract people from a visible drop in quality of life and standard of living

All it takes is one incident for all this to happen. I don't know why but before I checked the article I was thinking about this same topic. Revolution. It just seems like only the rich are getting richer while the rest are getting poorer. If you look at what people talk about on facebook and twitter you start to notice trends. Like Graduation season or wedding season, but you never hear about promotion season. shyt I'm always catching someone talking about getting fired than getting a promotion. It just seems like this can't go on forever. Something will have to give.

This country will tear its self apart first and the rich know it.. the 99% cacs will blame blacks for their problems like they always do ans attack them before the 1%. Just look at the housing bubble as foreshadowing. They were more upset at a few blacks who got predatory loans than the bankers who got rich off taking advantage of them
