I think this is good and bad.

I mean if companies are gonna get involved like this regarding laws or actions they don't like....where is it gonna end? Or where should it end?

I mean suppose the NYPD uses Cablevision as their internet provider....are they gonna refuse to service the NYPD as a client because of the Eric Garner murder?
Would Walgreens close shop in Ferguson over the failure to indict Darren Wilson?

Pick a side and be a human :stopitslime:

I think this is a shytty law, but the lesson is that these people respect money and power above all. They might hate gays, but they hate not making money either.

When Hillary Clinton and all of the tech industry is shytting on you, you fukked up.

Absolutely gay people should have equal rights.

All I'm saying is that it gets mighty tricky when companies (whose workforce is comprised of employees that hold a wide range of views) choose to act politically.

And....it's quite curious to see which political statements these companies DO choose to get involved in....and which they choose not to get involved in.

Nothing wrong with that.

that would be nice.

notice they are raising hell at the potential for discrimination with this bill. nothing foul has actually happened yet but they are being proactive about this.

They're discriminating against fruits because there's a goddamned HIV outbreak in Indiana and they're trying to get a handle on industries with high risk of exposure without looking like they're discriminating against fruits because they're scared they could spread HIV at their jobs by blaming it on the Bible and the Qur'an.
