The pandemic and the election has completely taken over the news cycle. People don't even know many of these events are happening. I'm an avid sports watcher I literally had no idea when the NFL season started, when NHL had the Stanley cup or that the MLB playoffs just started. You get so much of your information on things from friends and coworkers and "water cooler" talks and that's not really happening right now.

i mostly just watch youtube now. I watch tv really only when my dad visits. and i'm 35. i imagine there is a whole generation now that primarily gets their entertainment from online gaming , and streamers.
