We are starting to reach the same tipping point in this Hip-Hop podcasting shyt that the comedy game did like 3/4 years ago.

I think Drink Champs is the last one I'll be subbing to, simply based on his ability as a host to get OGs and pull really dope stories outta them.

this.

i barely listen to Combat anymore, im not checking for his lil buddy who talked like once every episode. you gotta bring some unique heat to the table or its :bushes:

I stopped listening to CJ almost a year ago. At this point, as far as "Hip-Hop" pods go, all I listen to is:

The Brilliant Idiots (for the comedy and the social/pop-culture talk)
Juan Epstein (for good interviews with OGs and people who aren't on press-runs)
A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal (only if I'm interested in the guest so not every ep)
Drink Champs (since it feels like OGs really let loose in front of someone they trust in NORE)

Every other pod is either hosted by people I don't like (Budden, CJ, Rap Radar) or is just people interviewing artists on current press-runs and asking generic questions that reveal generic answers.

If you watch Breakfast Club and Hot 97 interviews there's really no point in listening to a podcast with those same guests because TBC and Hot97 are basically podcasts with video.

:mjlol: you don't listen to Combat but you like Juan Ep for "good interviews" get the fukk outta here! they have one hour episodes where they jabber on for 40 mins about NOTHING then the guest finally gets there and they spend 15 mins with them talking about bullshyt then wonder why they run out of time.

Nah you're tripping about the CJ show, it should be on the list

For me its:
Combat Jack (when I give a fukk about the guests)
Rap Radar (it actually makes me laugh and I like Elliot's laugh lol)
Drink Champs

I keep it simple really
