it's more of business now and a bunch of "follow the leader" (and not in the rakim sense) type of shyt these days
a bunch of non talented muthafukkas in the business who have no business bein' in it
but because it's so easy to make a "hit" song these days, they figure why not, when whitey is payin' them some dough and it's better than workin' at burger king
but the art and and talent of those who are talented has been lost in the shuffle in the meanwhile

Man I was watching BET Jams for the first time ever last night and I kid you not...EVERY single thing that came on either sounded like....

1. That Migos/Future flow
2. That PartyNextDoor/Weekend slow vibe
3. DJ Mustard beats

I was like :mindblown:

The shyt was a real-life musical zombie attack. It's like nobody's even fukkin trying to say anything or stand out in any kind of way. There was literally no differentiation or any real feeling in the music. Even the videos all looked the same.

It's needed...I'm not saying that the drugged out music should be totally abandoned but we DEFINITELY need some alternative to that. And it's all about the corporations doing this. They controlling EVERYTHING so we conforming to what they doing. I swear to God that EVERYDAY at 5:20 the main radio station here in Detroit plays Back to Back...no one is requesting that shyt. They forcing it into your mental. They know what they doing :beli:
