When the PS3 launched, the truth is the system didn't have any games that stood out.
Gamers who love there consoles too much will act like mediocre titles are great (I.E. Killzone, Knack)
And since that has happened again this gen, why wouldn't what followed happen again as well?
What happened afterwards? Well, sony couldn't get sony gamers to buy games at the rates they need to survive

Console devs are here and plentiful, and they just need to sell titles. One system is and always has done that

Sony had to BEG dev's to not leave. Then had to moneyhat MGS4 because Konami was ready to port it (Tru Story)
Why you think the game STILL hasn't landed on xbox and was not included in the MGS:Aniversary pack which had all the MGS games in it including the PSP/Vita version?

Fast forward to 2014, sony fanboys are celebrating every month that they sold more total consoles
But the FACTS are with a larger install base, and it being available in 40 more countries than XB1 is available in?
Xbox One sells more software than PS4 does. Not just 360&XB1 vs SONY. XB1 vs PS4, software sells better on the smaller installed userbase
Just like it did last gen So what do you think developers are REALLY THINKING?
