I love online gaming. Before consoles had that we had to play at someone's house to achieve such a feat. And regardless of skill, you still enjoyed the experience. And if you liked the game you would get better over time.
With online gaming, at first we was just happy to be there. Ghost recon on the OG Xbox was so epic because we'd literally camp out in virtual fields in the virtual dark, nikkaz with night vision, snipers, tall grass (fps games don't feature this anymore for some reason) teamwork and communication. It was epic and ever since then the experience seems to diminish each gen.
Parties make it so people hide instead of coordinating with strangers, and the worst thing about today's online gamer? The ones who post here and most places?
Y'all nikkaz act like any game is an esports event
nikkaz more worried about a K/D ratio more than they are having fun
nikkaz don't wanna lose so bad because of stats that are meaningless. I've seen people quit games, scream on teammates, take people of there gamertags
I wonder, does this hoe'ish way of approaching gaming spill over into other areas of people's lives? If you play basketball, do you all of a sudden turn into LeBron screaming "we need help" if you go down a couple points? Are you nikkaz keeping track of your FG percentage on blacktops? If you did all that, it would take away from the enjoyment of just hooping with friends. You wouldn't take certain shots based on percentage as opposed to the fact you're wide open.
In online gaming, I know people who snipe only because of K/D ratios
Or the types who only use the best teams in sports games
Here's the worst...the types who say shyt like "One system doesn't have variety" because the truth is people don't want variety these days
because on here at least? You will slander anything that steps out the box
I'll give an example. Uncharted 3 flopped, UC4 is deemed not better than UC2, now a "group" is acting
over DLC while Ignoring the fact they took away the season pass so they could charge MORE for it
these same people will turn around and say Sea of thieves doesn't interest them. New ip, created its own lane it's own genre... Boriiiiiiiiing
(This is not an endorsement for sea of thieves fanboys)
We gotta go back to gaming for the sole purpose of having fun my nikkaz, and drop all this bullshyt. Word to Smooth3D
