At least half the states in the US are right-to-work states. If they want to get rid of unions then do it for all professions. However, we have to seriously ask ourselves why unions were created in the first place.

I don't really think it's a bad idea to have tenure.
But does this have anything to do with the rising rate of white female teachers having sex with underage male students. Those ladies would lose their tenure, among other things, self-respect, dignity, etc.
